    YOUR pre-post workout shakes

    Hi there,

I've done a lot of searching on pre and post workout shakes but have not found any real "recipes' I guess you could say that interest me. Infact, I have found very few, period, and rather just see amounts of creatine, protein, glutamine, etc to take.

    So my question to you:

What does your pre cardio drink/meal consist of? (recipes, brand names are all good here)
What does your post cardio drink/meal consist of? (recipes, brand names are all good here)

    Thanks,

    Ben

I guess maybe I should rephrase what I asked... keep in mind I am in a cutting phase now

    Example:

5g glutamine prior to cardio. Just mix it in with juice? How much would you suggest?

Post workout - Is a protein shake with dextrose recommended post-cardio?(I know it is after bulking, obviously) If so, how many grams of protein is suggested? And dextrose... should I add that into a post workout shake as well? Just spoon it into a protein shake? And how much? Would grape juice suffice instead?

    Thanks,

    Ben
