i nearly broke my wrists doing reverse curls with and easy bar. i advise strongly that you use a barbell. do both of them, reverses work the outside, wrists work the inside.

lower wrist region does not exists, it's not even a head to strenghted the wrists do exercises like, wrist curl, thors hammer, plate curls, reverse wrist curls, fist push ups, horizontal rotations, vertical rotations
and reverse curls are bad for the brachiadialis it turns the muscle in a awkward way when performing the exercise, hammer curls are musch safer

Just do both exercises so you don't have to worry. And they are not the same thing, wrist is in a different position.

dude, i did reverse curls and my wrists got screwed up for months, they ar eonly jsut starting to recover and i have recently started up hammer curls and i'm already seeing results, they are the way to go
i found it really hard to keep good form with reverse curls but with hammer curls they are much easier and u can really feel it in your forearms and bi's after a solid workout, Cheerseat BIG
lift BIG
sleep BIG
get BIG

Both are Sufficient
Both are sufficient my friend. Any means of exercise will build up and strengthen muscle mass. But if you want a direct answer, I personally prefer hammer curls. Reverse curls are good, but hammer curls work both the brachioradialis, bracilis, & biceps brachii whilist the reverse curls mainly target the forearms. For maximum results, you can also include wrist curls & hand grippers.
