Post Workout: gainer or whey isolate?

I posted this in the Nutrition section but I was wondering if some of you experts here in the supplements section can check it out and give me some feedback.

I went in to my local supplement store looking for something post workout to help me bulk up. Basically the rep told me that I should be taking a whey isolate with BCAAs instead of a weight gainer for post workout.

What are your opinions or advice??

    Thanks!

It doesn't really matter. As long as you have a decent meal before you workout, and a meal when you get home from the gym, you don't even really need a shake post workout.

    No need for bcaa either

idc what anyone says if u wanna gain weight you need carbs after your work out... sugars mainly.

so add ur isolate to gatorade or drink a half serving of your gainer with a scoop of the isolate for extra protein.

You just need calories of any sort at any time, they do not have to be sugars and they do not have to be post workout. So you're wrong.

Oats and a protein blend work well for me post-workout. I try to avoid carbs closer to bed though.

I'd suggest nitro-core 24. It's the only protein that I actually "see" working over time. Throw in 5g of fiber too.

So you think there are "experts" in this section OP? Most of these "experts" are brain washed bros just like you who think supplements are the only solution to a good physique. Good luck wasting your money OP, because that "rep" recommended you a sh!tty product.

You don't need carbs and you don't need sugars after your workout.
