I've been thinkin about it for a while and have come to this conclusion...
UNDERATED- without a doubt...MELVIN ANTHONY
OVERATED-GUSTAVO BADELL/DEXTER JACKSON
Not sayin the overated isnt good even great...just a little overated. What do you all think?

Overated: Dexter/Cutler
Under: Ruhl. The goal of bodybuilding is to look like a bodybuilder. Period. Not "I just wanna be toned" or "I wanna be strong screw abs." If you don't look like a bodybuilder and don't aspire to then GTFO. Stop worrying if you should cut or bulk, or whether a food is clean or dirty. Instead ask yourself "will this make me a better bodybuilder?"

Being the new Mr. O is very underrated. Wish he could place better.
(I guess you mean as a fan that he should have had the title from 2001 on.)
Anthony keeps rising every year, now 4th best in world. When Coleman falls this year he will be top 3. Hardly underrated.
I am shocked you didn't say Coleman is overrated. I don't think he would be top 10 if you were a judge at the O.Last edited by LUKEDEICHER; 03-18-2007 at 12:37 PM.

Despite being Mr Olympia theres alot of people who still do not think of Cutler as a champion thats why I say hes underated. I say melvin is underated because although he did place 5th this year he gets very little hype or respect like Martinez or Heath do.
Im not going to get into Coleman, I didnt say he is overated because technically he isnt, that doesnt change my opinions though.

Overrated - Freeman (guy hasn't changed that much and his placings have gone
to high too fast)
Underrated - Rockel (guy has no flaws), Shelstov (big man, pretty complete)
Pics:
Rockel - crazy physique meets all criteria, top 5 physiques in ifbb
Shelstov - i prefer him to freeman, fairly complete for a big man
Freeman- looks basically the same @ arnold in 2006 (placed 9th) as 2007 (placed 3rd)
guy is getting too much love
You have to put yourself first or people will put you second.

all the pics prove is that he was overlooked before. Not only that, but how can you say he hasn't changed much? The pics show him pretty much with similar proportions(if they were other poses you'd see his arms came up a bit as needed) and in the 2007 his conditioning is MUCH better(which is definately obvious in the pics)
Shelestov is great but should compete in more US shows and he'll get his due. He placed poorly at his last show partially due to his terribly light coloring as well(color that is too light does not allow proper viewing of muscularity).

im with cgcgraded. i think freeman is overrated. broad shoulders, tight waist...but subpar arms and average everything else. i think if he was the same darkness in the first pic as in the 2nd it would be very hard to even notice a difference. his recent high placings are 95% change in judging and 5% improvement in his physique.
