For joints, I believe you are referring to glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate (CSA), and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). My husband uses some stuff made by Sci-Fit called Joint Enhance + MSM and he says it works well.
I take a calcium, magnesium, and zinc tablet 3 times a day since I don't eat much dairy and it's recommended that pre-menopausal women get 1000 -1200mg of calcium a day for bone health and to help prevent osteoporosis. So I take three 999mg tablets a day with meals. Some vitamins/mineral brands are much better than others but I get what I can afford, I pick up whatever is available at my local grocery store. I also take potassium (99mg tablets) 3 times a day with meals. I no longer get calf cramps since I've been doing that.
