i was looking at a nutrition data base for diary and egg products that are highest in protein and lowest in carbs and fat and above cottage cheese came this... for 100g which is 2 much im just saying like maybe 75g or so but for 100g has 0 fat so maybe i could add some flax...
heres what it looks like:
149cal: 32g protein (128cal from protein) 4g carbs with 2g of that as fiber and 1g sugar and is high in calcium 96% of daily intake.
Just wanted to see some opinions on this... personally i might try it depending on response but the casein content should be similar to cottage cheese correct? Thanks
i noticed that it has a downfall.... has 700mg of sodium per serving... but is this that big of a deal... yeah i know itll make me retain more water but in the rest of my diet i recieve very little sodium so what do u guys think? thanks
well my current cottage cheese has 420mg of sodium so its not that much more... plus my cc has 5g carb 0 fiber 4g sugar... and only 14g protein per serving

little comparison of my stash of nonfat cottage cheese and nonfat cheddar cheese:
113g Cottage Cheese: [80calories] = 14g protein; 5g carbohydrates (4g Sugar); 0g fat. (10% Daily Value of Calcium)
112g Cheddar Cheese: [160calories] = 32g protein; 4g carbohydrates (4g Sugar); 0g fat. (160% Daily Value of Calcium)
