Always wanted to know this. I know he's strong and has somewhat of a good body for 60 years but he's a small guy. At least that's what someone told me. Anyway, i'd like to know his stats, like how much he can bench and ****.

there was an article in the newspaper the other day about him being busted for bringing illegal supplements to Australia. i guess he had some sort of growth hormone stuff with him when he flew in and that's considered importing contraband.
to answer your question, i don't know his stats, but he's a strong guy for a 60 some yr old. he was pretty mean and lean in that last Rocky movie.

I think he tore his pec doing 400 when he was having a bench off with Franco Columbo (or something). I assume that would be around his max. No idea on his current #s. He's in great shape, but probably a lot less.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

"Stallone claims to have been able to bench press 385-400 lbs and squat 500 lbs in his prime. While in a bench pressing contest with former Mr. Olympia Franco Columbu, he severely tore his pectoral muscle and needed over 160 stitches on it. This is why one half of his chest is more veiny than the other."
It happened around 1979-1980 so it must have been while preparing for Rocky II since his chest looked fine in the first one. You can really notice the tear in 3 and 4 where the guy is seriously ripped.

"The 60-year-old American actor, who had been in the country to promote his latest film, Rocky Balboa, faces a charge of importing a banned substance after airport staff found 48 vials of the hormone Jintropin in his luggage."
When I first heard about this, they said "illegal supplements". This forum has a thread on supplements that have been seized by Australian customs http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...ight=Australia
so I wasn't sure if they were blowing it out of proportion or not. Apparently not. Looks like he was trying to maintain his Rocky muscles for filming John Rambo.

Were those dummy plates he was using in Rocky Balboa? I'm not sure if I recall correctly, but it looked like he clean and jerked either 225 or 315, and squatted 405+...

Yeah, it is Hollywood after all so some tricks were involved. And it's not like IFBB pros haven't used fake plates for the camera before
Like you said, for 60 the guy looks great, regardless of what he used. I don't think enough people appreciate just how hard it must be to pull it off at that age. Everyone thought he was going to embarrass himself but he went out in style.
