    Caffeine and Tuna questions (seperate)

What is something I can substitute for caffeine? I'm in school damn near all day long and sometimes I need some kind of a boost.

Does anyone know exactly what the deal is with tuna and mercury? I'm new to the boards but I noticed that many here consume a good amount of tuna which is a little odd because I heard that people shouldn't consume more than 1 can of tuna per week. Is there a brand that is known to be less harmful in terms of mercury?

Try yerba mate for a caffeine subsitute.

And don't worry about the mercury and tuna thing. I eat 1-2 cans a day and theoretically I should be dying.

I bought my Yerba Mate online as well - never checked stores though. I like caffeine better, though. But if you really don't want caffeine, then I'm sure it will do just fine. Green Tea extract can help as well (some caffeine though).

As smkenne2 said, I eat tons of tuna - don't worry about it.
