remember when there was such a thing as a "shoe"?

dealer would shuffle 6 decks by themselves, burn 3 cards, show them to you and then deal until it was time to shuffle all 6 decks all over again. someone at the table would cut the deck. generally the hottest player the previous shoe or the one who tipped the dealer the best. you'd give a death stare to someone who jumped in during a shoe they didn't start. whoever was playing at the end of the table had to play by the book to a T lol.

those were the days boyos.

Honestly the stupid high minimums at tables killed it for me. I want to sit there and BS for $5 per hand for as long as I want. I don't want to burn $25 per hand while the dealer is trying to turn cards as quick as he can.

you cant just play $5 over and over tho

sat out some hands, even switched tables. was playing basic strategy. lost bout 900 in half an hour, oof!
