lol @ tradies crew
lol harder @ tradie sympathizers
they aren't going to take you home and pork you... you aren't a hog with a cigarette cough and 3 kids from 3 men
I could be a tradie
they couldn't be engineers. Attempt to have an intellectual conversation with a tradie one day. their mental capacity peaks at, round peg go in round hole.

LOL at tradies.
Imagine thinking that being around unsophisticated, emotionally immature dudes who think that acting like they're in middle school is the way for a grown man to behave.
I'll stick to hanging out with educated, accomplished folks who have more goals in life than hitting up the 7-11 each morning for their monster, skoal, big bites, and scratchies and then going home and drinking themselves into oblivion each night.
Yes we need tradies. They just need to be carefully supervised and controlled so they stay in their tradie lane.Early AM workout crew.
Holy crap dude, Satan's huge crew.

Imagine being out of the workforce for years while studying, accumulating student debt and working in a soul-crushing 9-5 job that’s actually 60 hours a week just to be MOGGED by a teenager in a dodge ram that’s worth more than your house
And that’s before you find out he banged your wife because you couldn’t figure out how to fix the roof leak
Yeah if that were me I’d be mad tooBy reading this post you acknowledge r32gojirra is an online persona and all posts by r32gojirra are satirical in nature. Can't relate. I graduated with more saved than I started with. For the most part, most engineers come from affluent families. Engineering runs in their bloodline. Most get scholarships or their parents can pay, easy. Unlike tradies, who are the byproduct of a few hogs plowing in a trailer park after polishing off a bottle of sailor jerry.
Imagine thinking using your body instead of your brain, as your main source of income, is a solid long-term plan. I've seen what happened to the tradies in my family. Bad back, double knee replacement, torn rotator cuff, etc.

You like hanging around sophisticated people? The same people you have to walk on eggshells around? The same people with he/she/they in their email sig? The same people with the dumb morning team building jargon? The same people that have to leave the door open when the opposite sex is around?
You lol at monsters and cigs, meanwhile office people do coke and eventually become crackheads losing everything
All Office people don't act like adults. Maybe if it's a small family owned business. But large offices with hundreds of employees? Good luck dealing with all the SJW and LGBTQ warriors.

I work in tech and make $150K but I’m like middle class here lol.
But I took the Mom career path so I could work 9-5 hourly instead of 60 hour weeks.
I’d be making well over $250K like my former colleagues at my consulting firm who are mostly high-level managers and executives.
I just want to be an individual contributor and not be in meetings all day like most managers.

$108k sounds about right. I've worked as a programmer for a few years now, and I've seen what others make. Unless it's some senior architect guy, most make between $80k and $120k. The most I've seen a senior make was $190k. This is in the Midwest, people on the coasts make a little more, and if you're some star at google I'm sure you make more too.
Overall programming is flooded with Indians that drive down wages.
Idk what CS grads were making that straight out of school, maybe MIT graduates. Most University of Northern Southern Eastern Oklahoma grads aren't making $100k+ straight out of school.

I supervise tradies and think many could be engineers. And many of them make much more than me, some 200-300k, I’ve heard several make 300-400k. I’m at about 150k total comp, not amazing, but top 8-9% for my age. Stemcel/engineer background

Even when I worked from home it wasn't 1 hour a day. Once I opened my laptop it was non stop Slack messages and emails. I didn't want to be away too long in the event that my manager or someone above him sends me a Slack message. The nature of my work is just nonstop work. I could work 24/7 if I wanted to.
Yet I'm grateful for my job in this economy, even though it's tough on my mental health. I do like the part that it's like a daily puzzle.
