I don’t want to politicize your thread and I will certainly delete it if you like, but (NC) State Sen. Graig Meyer is using the day to draw attention to disparity in arrests between black and white users.
#420 Fact: Black and White folks use #marijuana at roughly equal rates. But black folks are almost twice as likely to be arrested and convicted for possession.
