Its like back in the gold rush days.

When it first started you could get a bucket and levis for like $1 each.

Soon as everyone started getting gold the prices of those things increased to $5, then $10 then like $100 each.

So no matter how much gold you got, the prices were adjusted to keep everyone but the top few at a certain level. Of course the guy selling the buckets made money but everyone else just experienced higher prices.

this is exactly what will happen to places that do stupid things like this. of course, learning from history is not liberals strong suit so it makes sense they will try it and then have a dumb look on their face when the unintended consequences happen.
