Nope. Hard to believe I know. Just never grew up gaming except for the occasionally Super Smash with the homies. I was always an outdoorsy kind of guy.

Do you ski at all in Cali?

I’ve actually never skied in my life. Wish I did it when I was a kid. Now I’m scared to start and probably won’t ever learn unless I somehow get a gf who skies and is willing to teach me. Always super jealous of those who can ski. Why’d you ask? You like skiing?

Yes, it's a pretty good workout in the winter months when things tend to slow down. And if the spring season near you is good, you can ski into April and May.

It's never too late to learn, you can get rental gear at a resort and a lesson to learn the basics. After that, repetition and practice. I taught myself by watching youtube videos, falling down a lot, and making a habit of going very often. Eventually you just get it like riding a bike and it's pretty blissful.

I wouldn't wait on a gf if you want to try it, you can miss out on a lot of things in life waiting for that kind of thing. Maybe it'll give you some more confidence.

Thank you for more wisdom! That last paragraph really hit me hard. The closest ski resorts are 3 hours away so won’t just go unless I’m there on a trip with someone who skies.
