Need help misc. My mouth has been tasting absolutely disgusting for a few days. Upped my brushing to 3-4 times a day, flossing daily at least, and been through a bottle of mouthwash. No improvement. It's like the stinky car in Seinfeld.

Get a tongue scraper, most of the bad breath causing bacteria sits on your tongue specially when you wake up.

this, halitosis stems from an overgrowth of bad bacteria
eating junkfood, fakefood, excessive sugary/grains can lead to this. as the bad bacteria grows off of it.
think of a pooce that gets yeast from overgrowth and has that stink
depending on how bad you got it - antibiotics can kill the bad bacteriaSubjecting yourself to self imposed discipline is the surest way to increase the quality of your existence

Brush your tongue, you could also have dry mouth, or a mouth breather which causes bacteria to grow when your mouth is dry. Do you smoke or drink lots of coffee? they dry you out especially caffeine
You could have Candida or yeast built up in the gut and intestines, do a coconut oil gargle flush. or for internal issues try Oregano Oil or Caprylic Acid it supposed to kill bacteria without killing the good ones.

Ask the Dentist has a good article about this: Bad Breath: What causes it and how do you cure it?
the tl;dr is gum disease is a major reason for bad breath. If your gums bleed while you floss, that would be an early sign of gum disease.
Dry mouth is another big cause of bad breath. Do you snore or breathe through your mouth while sleeping? These both dry out the mouth and could be what's causing your problem.
The article argues that mouthwash is counterproductive because it kills good as well as bad bacteria in the mouth. The immediate effect is that it makes your breath smell better, but over time it actually makes it worse.
If you're mouth-breathing at night, mouth-taping is a way to stop it and force yourself to breathe through your nose. If you have gingivitis, using coconut oil as a mouthwash can help. Vitamin C also benefits the gums. More info here:

I used to have chronic bad breath and gingivitis. I started doing these three things (mouth-taping, coconut oil, and supplementing vit C) together a year ago, along with tongue scraping, and they quickly cured me. My breath improved within a few days. The gingivitis took slightly longer to treat: my gums used to bleed every time I flossed, but after ~3 weeks they stopped bleeding for good.
Good luck.

Lots of good advice ITT.
Floss, scrape tongue and brush teeth gently with a soft brush. Don't brush your gums - it leads to gum recession which is irreversible.
After brushing just spit everything out, don't wash it down with water or drink water for at least 20 mins. It ruins the protective layer from the paste.
