Where I live in western Canada , its typically a 7-10 hour waiting time in the ER . Seen one woman freak ,as she had been waiting for 5 hours and could have got to her family doctor in the next province by then

don't assume that in the land of MEDICAL BANKRUPTCY that people do not also wait a LOOOONG time when taking a trip to the ER. As one who has suffered advanced stage cancer and related issues like heart troubles I can tell you that on more than one occasion with heart trouble I contemplated staying home and riding it out or going to the ER where I would sit...and sit...and sit.... in discomfort and boredom until finally getting admitted

the world does not revolve around one patient....I am one of MANY there and it will take a long time to get a bed....and it's just a long miserable experience

conclusion: just best not to get sick
