When i was in college working at a restaurant, we were told employees get 50% off whatever we wanted to eat for ourselves...not 1 employee would even pay that, and everyone just made food and drinks throughout the day for free.

No brag, but I bought more than few two families houses years ago(pre covid) meant for working/lower middle class renters because I saw these non stop min wage hikes coming. I used your very same math that I posted here many years ago suggesting others do the same.

It become evident that very soon, tomorrows min wager workers, or those right above it would be making the same or more than solid middle class workers from only a few years ago, meaning, higher rents, which increased the value of my properties. I have mortgages on homes bought for 175K worth north of 300K.
