What's your GOTY so far?

For me it's Expeditions ded fkn srs. Nothing else plays quite like it. Basically if Dark Souls was an offroading simulator. Very addictive earning more money and getting upgrades, turning your poverty truck that can't handle a small boulder to an absolute beast with rock crawling suspension, high powered winch and LED spotlights. Base game is like £30 and has 100 plus hours of content and Saber are GOATs at season passes, with hundreds of hours of extra content for not much money. Can be played on a wheel but it's more fun with a controller tbh.
Will probably pick up Pacific Drive at some point to see how that goes

I rarely play games on release, so I'll give my current non-2024 release GOTY which I am playing for the first time, Ghost of Tsushima, just hit Act 3 and am blown away by how good this is. Like HZD and Death Stranding, the subject matter didn't interest me at all, so I kept putting it off but after hearing enough good things I gave it a go and blown away in every regard, story, combat, and it's the most engaging open world game I have played to date. As far as what released this year I am most interested in TLoU2 and Prince of Persia, will play both once they hit PS+. I can see getting into expeditions, reminds me of Death Stranding, maybe I'll give it a go one day.

Don't really have one, I guess by default it would be Helldivers but I wouldn't pick that because I'm already done playing it. I haven't played much this year yet

Bit too early, but personally FF7 Rebirth has been absolutely amazing so far. Definitely my top game rn.


Yakuza Infinite Wealth has also been top tier.


Seems like Japan is pulling the weight for this year so far.

Haven't played enough of DD2 to decide yet. First two games warrant more time to consider as well since they're live service games.

Good chance of Black Myth Wukong stealing the show though by end of year.
