But wtf happened to classic rock stations? The local one here plays bullchit like Nirvana, Green Day, Foo Fighters, etc. haof the time now. When it's not that, it's some 80's pop rock like Styx, Journey, REO Speedwagon. A few overplayed Queen type songs. Just total trash stations.

Radio is desperately clinging to its audience and trying to be all things to all people. Classic rock is now essentially classic top 40 at a lot of stations. Ever look at the artists that get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Pretty much the same thing.

You in Houston? We used to have 2 classic rock stations that played pretty much classic rock. After one changed format to hip hop, the remaining one started slowly expanding their play list to bring in new listeners. It wasn't like the classic rockers could just bail for the other station any more.

Today's cucks prefer to listen to Taylor Swift and drive Soccer Mom Suvs and Cuvs.
