There are always a few exceptions to the rule but 99.9% of the time Men & Women cant just be "friends"... By nature we arent wired that way... We are programmed to slay with the force of a 1000 suns and make as many little mini me savages as you can.... So your significant other may legit start out thinking "he's just a friend" (NB4 Biz Markie) but all it takes is one too many shots of Fireball to scramble your morals just enough that your brain reverts back to evolution mode.. and next thing you know her legs are over your shoulders and your balls are slappin' her turd cutter...

As far as the whole Girls night out.... Lets just call it what it is.... a alternative label for acting like a whore and as a husband / BF if you express your concern even in the slightest you get demonized and called "insecure". But hey... I am not going to stand in the way... if she insists on pulling that $hit then by all means do you boo boo , but just know that tide goes both ways. And for the record I am all for Wives getting out of the house for some kid free decompression time... I will toss a couple Hundie's at my wife and tell her to go get her nails done...go shopping... hell go have brunch with some friends and pound pitchers of Mimosas. no my mom nor grandmaws didn't have guys friends or girl nights out. they didn't smoke, drink alcohol, do SSRIs or have tattoos either. my mom had women that were friends since she was young and they knew my my whole family. they would sometimes go to church, shopping, weddings, sports thing the kids were doing or something like that. sometimes they would come to the house to visit or we would go to their house for a cookout or birthday party.
