with The Rock and Roman challenging Cody and Seth to a tag
if Rock/Roman win, it's bloodline rules for night 2
if Cody/Seth win, bloodline is banned
To me it seems 99.9% certain that Rock/Roman will win night 1, then Rock ends up turning on Roman night 2
However, that completely ruins the story. Cody gets to finish his story after a beaten down Roman on night 2? Way to make your top face a cuck

Pretty underwhelming just throwing it all out there in one shot. Will say it was such a change of pace these days seeing some tension there during a promo, and just the magnitude of the Rock and connection with the crowd. Especially a change of pace vs. the useless and non compelling Japanese chicks they followed it up with in the next segment. Or the Goldberg lite thing they’re doing with Bron.
Speaking of Japanese. What’s the deal with most Japanese wrestlers not bothering to learn English at a competent level when they come over here?

The way that The Rock worded it on Smackdown was that if his team wins then it's No DQ vs Cody night 2
But if Cody wins the tag team match then Bloodline is banned for the match at night 2
Tribal combat is what they did at SummerSlam which was supposed to be no interference but solo came in so that made no sense

Rock and reigns win night 1 and rock turns on reigns night 2, it's so obvious, they made it even more obvious by having the rock "acknowledge" reigns, yeah.... As if he's gonna just let that go.
Would have been cooler if they had been more subtle setting up the turn but I bet you they will make it even more obvious, Reigns will probably steal the pin at mania and rock will be stood there looking all confused and angry "duh... I wonder what he's gonna do...."

He also flubbed yet another line.
I think we're supposed to suspend disbelief/suspicion here for the sake of the story. Tribal combat was a family thing. Yeah it should have been more binding because supposedly all these guys are family and bound by their tribal rules that they would likely face shame and consequences for breaking. The Rock's thing seemed more official though as he stated he would get whoever in there to sign it. I'd like to see them play that up and imply that there would be legal or employment consequences to defying that (Rock is off the board, and the others get fired if they interfere), as well as announcers make mention that Rock/Solo/Jimmy/Heyman won't even be in the arena on Night 2, should Cody/Seth win on Night 1.See Krackerjacked's sig

I think it's clear they will have rock/roman win the tag match. Which adds more to the suspense and puts more odds against cody with the bloodline being able to be ringside. Then night two solo goes to interfere with or without the rock, then rock turns on solo/roman and lets Cody win. I think this is very obvious. Then that sets up for Rock/Roman.

This whole thing is becoming lazy and creating predictability at the expense of it.
When are they going to have Cody address why he originally decided to step aside for the Rock to face Roman at Wrestlemania? MAJOR gap that we are all apparently suppose to ignore? Or do they just feel no explanation will do?

somehow I really do not like the idea of watching seth rollins twice that weekend lol i guess i'm hating but i am not in the mood to watch his whole schtick twice. they are CLEARLY missing old Phil.
something doesn't feel right about how they're doing the mid titles either. You can feel the missing presence of Brock Lesnar. Him and Gunther could've been a show stealer.
crowd will eat it all up though. that place will fill up regardless. they're hot enough to the point where they can pretty much trot anything out there and it'll work.

It sounds delicious for real. It has beefed up. But not where it’s bloated up. Ya I agree with one posters comment here that it shouldn’t be about getting every one on the card. But man this card looks great so far .
Rey Rey vs. Santos Escobar
Gunther in a multiple person ic title match
Shaq vs. omos
Braun Strowman accepting bron breaker open challenge (or vice versa) at maniaBLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

The bigger question is: What's the swerve?
- Roman blocked Rock's hand on SD and asked to be acknowledged. Rock did, but before that, we got stare down. Maybe I'm reading into more than there is, it may not be a big thing, but its something.
- Rock said there is no one who can stop him from doing anything he wants to do. Crowd chants Triple H. And Rock and Trips had the stare down when Rock slapped Cody. There are also rumors of SCSA somehow getting involved.
- Seth is more concerned with helping Cody than his own match with Drew.
- Drew is more concerned with CM Punk than his match with Seth.
WWE wants us guessing and we are, but I feel a big swerve is coming.
- Is Rock is gonna somehow cost Roman to lose the tag match?
- Or Roman is gonna cost the Rock the tag match?
- Will Roman will turn face or Rock will turn face and they'll end up turning on each other costing Roman to lose the title to Cody?
- Will Seth turn on Cody night 1 and join the Bloodline?
- Will Seth beat Drew with the help from the Bloodline only to be cashed in on by Priest with help of Judgement Day?
- Will this cause an all out fued between Judgement Day and Bloodline?
- Or will CM Punk come out cost Seth to lose the title to Drew?

Creative can’t come up with anything more creative than a fuking gauntlet match to decide who faces the guy you’re trying to get to the next level and has held the IC belt longer than anyone? Guess they decided to take a page out of womens tag title booking 101

The writers straight up wrote themselves into a corner by making Roman unbeatable for 3 years. Interference by Rock on night 2 is the only out they're gonna have to finally progress the championship storyline foreward.
