What's 1 thing a smart watch can do that a smart phone cannot do? Seems like they're closer to a fashion statement like normal watches in modern times thanks to phones than people want to admit.

i think they can be cool if you have bluetooth headphones and you can load some tunes on your watch and it's easy/no phone to carry etc
but also i thought of 'Smart' the TV show i watched as a kid, sad that presented died, remember that show?Overthinking, overanalysing separates the body from the mind

I'm not unhealthy enough to feel like I need 24/7/365 access to checking my vitals. Even if someone looks at that often, how accurate are vitals readings from a smart watch, and how practical is it really? Seems like more a bullchit excuse to get one than anything, but I suppose it could be quite useful to some people.
So what good are they if you aren't into long distance running and have enough disipline to stay off your phone without physically leaving it behind at home?

I think its best for checking vitals if you workout/cardio, and helpful at the gym/exercise class when you don't want to carry or constantly check a phone. Sometimes I'll get a text that requires a quick response, or a work email/text that requires me to leave the gym immediately.
Otherwise I don't think there is any other point outside of telling time.
They aren't exactly fashion statements because they are not particularly elegant, and they are definitely not Status Statements either cause everyone has one.

Your just looking for any excuse to chit on smart watches.WtF do you care if someone wants to wear one? you dont like it dont wear one. I have 2 and they are good for what i use them for. Ive also got a nice Swiss Army watch and a Seiko Samurai.

see who is calling, read texts when away from phone, know heart rates, know steps or to move more, alarm, the list is endless.
if the phone is charging, then you have optionsThere is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

It allows tech companies to harvest your biological data and overlap it with their recording of you so they can determine how you react physiologically to certain stressors and then use that data to market to you better and or sell that data to governments so they can control you better during mass psy-ops, war and election/propaganda cycles.
But yeah, i learned muh heart rate increases when I run, so I bought 2!**Florida Crew**

I had one and gave it away to my little cousin cause it was annoying af
My wrist was constantly vibrating.. I like being away from phone as much as possible. I keep it in another room when working. It's also hard to use cause the screen is very small. Some people use it for health reasons but I personally don't care about heart rate or steps. I only care about weight, bf%, how much I lift.
