Im moving there and have a hard time comprehending how anybody could consider 53 degrees cold. Went to work in -44 with -70 windchill in jeans and survived. And yeah, I work outside.

Businesses will legit shut down in places like Florida because they think 40F is too cold for anyone to be outside; that's a heatwave this time of year anywhere above the Mason Dixon
Likewise Northern states think 85F is hot and call it a heatwave*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

It was 34 degrees and rainy here in NY today, i wore baggy shorts and a light raincoat. Unless itโs below freezing i rarely wear long pants except for work.
Keep house at 58-61 all winter, 64 in the summer. Not sure i could handle florida temps unless I was in 64 degree AC all day. Anything over 66 or so and im hot indoors.**Eat lots and lots of birds. The smaller the bird, the more compact its protein content. Parrots are great sources for protein.**

That's how I used to feel when I first moved to Florida from the mid-west. Now, temps in the 50Fs are cold to me. I'm going to be spending the afternoon outdoors today. A cold front passed over last night and temps are in the 50s this morning with a high temp of around 62F. i'll be bundled up.
On the other end of the spectrum, temps around 90Fs with high humidity feels comfortable.

But the humidity!
You are your thoughts. Life is perception, thoughts are perception, perception is reality ergo thoughts are reality, I think therefore I am.

You know what though... right now I know dudes from Ohio, Michigan and Canada.. and they're probably the biggest bishes when it's cold
We had 1 day it got into the 30's this winter. Otherwise there's probably been like 2 weeks of 40. Last week was mid 80's and with humidity felt like 90 and this week has 50's with like 2 days of 49 as lows
But the guys from Ohio and Canada are the biggest bishes about it. They all say the cold hits differently down here. The Ohio guy had like 4 layers for the 40's.. and the Canada guy was talking about -40 BUT he also layers up for 40's and complains the most
Dude from Michigan less so but he did say he might pull out his insulated chit for the 30's
