Not necessarily. Most changes or upgrades end up screwing things up or taking it down a level. Why? Because the game representative of that era of technology, graphics, and people's perspective of what "fun" would be. Yes you can improve the game but you'll most likely take away some core stuff.

Example being Zelda and the Ocarina of Time may be more fun than the latest Zelda game which in my opinion looks way to cartoony.

Historically speaking movie license games are usually chit. There’s the odd exception like GoldenEye but for the most part they are garbage.

Can’t say the trailer does anything for me but the game doesn’t look downright terrible either.

Don't act like you aren't familiar with Uncharted lol, and most of that is just scripted events or non-interactive cutscenes. The most interactive parts of the games aren't that impressive.

Lol true, there is definitely a cryptic element and learning curve to retro gaming that you rarely see these days. Now a days every game needs to hold your hand with an hour+ of introduction tutorial.

That and those old games are a lot easier to go back to after you learn them, as they are usually pretty simple when you got them down. Now a days so many games got so many complex mechanics and elements going on you forget how to play them if it's been a while.

The first 3 were pretty cool for their time, sort of the early days of the whole interactive movie thing that Sony became known for in the PS3 and PS4 eras, and I'd say the best content they made in that direction. It's just often one n done for me and I feel like I've moved on from that direction. Sorta cheap thrills as well, neat spectacles but you realize how you're hardly playing them half the time, just going with the motions.
