The Hamilton fanbase are the cancer of F1. They only care about transflags, Abu Dhabi 21 and changing narratives to paint Hamilton as some alien.
This year they ignore that Russell is mogging him and continue to refer to the 23 season as an argument that Hamilton is better.
22 the constantly say that Hamilton was testing the car thus why he lost which is probably the biggest BS gaslighting lie they came up with. Hamilton and Rusell switched midseson to test the car. Toto and Lewis talked about it, but since Hamilton lost - in their minds 22 exist only when Hamilton was doing testing.


IMO Ferrari will have the WDC car in 26. I can only see Aston Martin somehow nail it
LeClerc should get his shyt together ASAP. He can mog Hamilton on pure speed but is inconsistent.

Verstappen will likely join Ferrari in 27. RBR will most likely suck in the new regs.

There's a pretty large group of people who believe he will retire or take a 1-2 year break at minimum.

At this point...who knows... We'll find out when we find out I guess.

Newey hasn't been designing anything significant for a while now, he's been more of a mentor/consultant who occasionally assists the F1 designers and comes and goes as he pleases. More of a manager than a designer. At least that is what Redbull was saying last year. It might actually be a positive for Redbull and potentially a negative for the team he goes to. Newey is one of the 3 Redbull employees who's salary is exempt from the cost cap. Him leaving allows RB to open up a salary exempt from the cost cap, and they'll presumably give it to someone who is actually leading the team full time. If Ferrari picks him up they'll have to remove one of their 3 employees from the salary cost cap exemption to give it to Newey, they can't afford him otherwise. Could be a tricky thing to manage if Newey continues coming and going as he pleases and only occasionally works on the car.

I’ll honestly be surprised if he doesn’t just retire TBH.
Or if he still works, it won’t be in F1.
Of course, mindsets, etc change…but years ago he said when he left Red Bull, that would be the end of the road for him.
Not to mention he has been very outspoken about the fact that the next changes for 2026 are absolute ass. It doesn’t sound like he has a lot of interest in working on the next cars IMO.

I took Max wins and Charles podiums for yesterday's sprint @ 1.77, then took Max to win race qualifying @ 1.43.

Now I just need Logan to DNF.

This track had weird evolution, almost exactly like Mexico last year. Maybe the brutal sun fuks with the tires? I dunno lol.

Red Bull suck (for their standards) at GPs that have Sprint since they cannot properly setup the car with just one practice session. Overall, the car is harder to get the setup done as it should.

Even when they win on such weekends, it usually by a way smaller margin. Brazil 22 comes to mind, where they didn't have the pace as well.

Likely in Imola, things will be reverted to normal

That was a colossal mistake by race control. If the safety car did what it was supposed to do Max would have still been in the lead and Norris would have been about 5th at the restart after pitting. Hopefully it doesn't effect the end of year standings.

Very happy for Lando, sure a bit of luck involved, but you make your own luck to a certain extent in motor racing. A popular winner with the whole paddock, and it was great to see RIC's big toothy smile again as he gave Lando a big bear hug. Plus, luck or no, Lando simply outdrove Verstappen to stay ahead.

I think there's a good likelihood Max would still have lost because Lando's pace was far superior. Max could not get the hard tires to work for him for chit.
But Lando would at least have had to fight some to pass him on track. If not for the safety car fk up, Lando would definitely not have came back on track in P1.

From what I gathered from most drivers, the tires - especially hardy - were basically impossible to get into and STAY in a good working window.

Also Max's floor apparently had significant damage. Max said he didn't notice a performance loss (damage related), but my guess is it was there but he was chalking it up to how bad the hard tires were. (He pitted onto the hard only 2 laps after hitting the cone/bollard.)
All that with the fact that they simply didn't get the car dialed in due to the Sprint format.

So for ALL that to go wrong and him still come out with P2 tells me no...no one is close to them still. lol

It took all that, a highly upgraded McLaren, and the help (although I still think Lando would have won - but it still helped) of a safety car for Max to lose.

Do I think Red Bull can/will likely lose more races if they don't nail their setup and/or have other issues? Most likely, yes. The McLaren pace at the hands of Lando would still have been fantastic I think even if the Red Bull was 100% dialed in. And Ferrari insists that they have upgrades coming that will put them in the fight with Red Bull as well.

I definitely do not think this season will be quite as dominant for Max as last season was.

Imagine Ferrari has the fastest car next year. I have Leclerc being faster than Hamilton but making more mistakes. They could end up a real disaster-class pairing like Hamilton/Rosberg, here's hoping
