I'm kinda getting bored of F1 lately. Haven't tuned in as much because it's just checking in to see how many seconds ahead Max ends up. Woulda probably been 40+ without the safety cars. How the fuk can you lose 1 second a lap against somebody when you're in the same car?

Verstappen is just too good. Doesn't matter who you put in the other seat.

The second best guy on the grid is like mid 40's and the so-called GOAT drives like Ricciardo this season. Then you have Leclerc who is like a drained battery every second race and Norris who becomes braindead when it matters the most.

Then you have Rusell, Piastri, Sainz who are good but are not generational talent material.

It's not just that Perez is losing, it's that he's getting completely outclassed. Guys like Sainz, Norris, Piastri and Russell might lose to Verstappen but not by 1 second a lap I imagine, if they were in the same car that is.

They need to get rid of the cost cap so teams have a chance to make up the deficit. If teams can't compete without a cost cap then they need to sell and let someone with money run the team

This. I'm a Max fan and even I have to admit the last few races have been pretty boring.

Which is why in my previous post I wished for Alonso to have a top car. He's the only guy that could bring it to Max. All the others, even in a car close to the RBs would fold under the pressure Max would bring. Alonso on the other hand? He might make Max fold tbh.

I'm 4 weekends in a row of profitable wagering this season.

Unfortunately I couldn't bet Australia because I was out of the country.

They put Max @ -160 to win chyna qualifying and I grabbed it. The Sunday race is almost impossible to find value on anybody because there are no obvious upgrades yet.

If Max comes in at anything 1.5 or better to win qualifying, THAT is your bet to take.

MotoGP is the answer. Every weekend there isn't F1, there is a MotoGP race.

The last MotoGP race in Austin was easily the most insane race I've ever seen. I thought maybe me being a total newb to the sport I was just over-excited, but the guys who podcast review the races agreed it was the best race in years.

The pack up front is HELLA close, the prodigy 19 year old rookie is beating factory Ducati riders on his satellite KTM bike.

I feel like his first win will be this weekend. Pedro Acosta is his name.

    Alonso is an amazing driver.

But he is no match for Max. He would certainly put up one hell of a fight, but Max would beat him by quite a margin across an entire season.

Not official yet. Would be pretty hype is a team like McLaren of Aston Martin can pick him up.

If Newey goes, Max will 100% leave too.

But wouldn't surprise me if these were more rumors leaked from a certain someone to keep destabilizing the team and put more pressure on Horner.

Newey moving is the shake-up formula 1 needs. He can basically gift any reasonable team with a championship (not HAAS, or alpine, but virtually any other lol)

Red Bull released a statement saying Newey will be with the team until at least the end of 2025, which is when his current contract is up.

But we also know contracts don’t always mean much in F1.
We’ll see. Could get interesting. Maybe LeClerc will finally get his championship after all.

If he goes to Ferrari, Ferrari fans need to be recognizing Fred as the God he is. He has done a lot of good already there and if he gets Newey, that would be next level.

Newey leaving RBR likely means retirement since he has a garden leave for 2 years which means he will be pushing 70 by the time he can come back.

If somehow a team can buy him earlier it is Ferrari or Aston

In the past, newey has hinted that he'd like to have worked with Hamilton and with Ferrari... Two birds, one stone.

Ferrari is selling their SUV for $400k+.... They can afford literally anything at this point.

There's only one team with the pockets deep enough to afford Newey and that's ferrari. They could throw 100 mil a season at him + the chance to design a ferrari road car

Apparently Newey's current contract is until 2025 and has a year's non-competition clause attached. So he's only free in 2027 to work with another team.
There is but one path....we kill them all.

I saw 2 year non compete somewhere. Either way, I don’t think he’ll be anywhere else any time soon.

I think a lot of it is the same wishful thinking from delusional people who think Max is leaving soon.
