If as you say, ISIS has claimed responsibility and had access to all the body cam footage, how then would it make sense that it's a false flag? The purpose of a false flag is to place blame on someone you want to attack. If these are indeed muslim extremists paid off by ISIS this doesn't help Russia and if Russia planned it, they would have left more bread crumbs pointing at Ukraine.


Let's look at this in a balanced way. Russia wants to blame Ukraine, and the United States and Ukraine want to blame ISIS. Both sides will shade things toward what they want the public to believe.
