Aware he is a professor at Standford. Being a PhD means you're hyperspecialised in one area
consensus about Huberman? I found a lot of his recommendation to be generally mental illness "sigman male" dumbchit?

No, absolutely not. He’s been writing, co-authoring, and publishing medical and academic papers for 20 years.
He’s actually very accomplished.

He’s the new Dr Oz. Panders to the low IQ bros that consider Joe Rogan podcast to be a good source of information
Retards use appeal to authority as their main argument to defend that moron. “B-B-but he’s a Stanford researcher!!!!”
Dr Oz was a physician at Columbia
This is a great article

He over-hypes and over-extrapolates niche scientific findings, translating them into "clinical" recommendations, and veers wildly outside of his neuroscience Ph.D. niche.Every man should be able to crush offenders penis using his rock solid glutes if he is victim of anal assault attempt

I feel he bangs on about a lot of stuff that although very interesting and impressive sounding, is ultimately of little practical value. But this is maybe a neuroscience thing more than a Huberman thing.
I think that knowing about the brain is largely pointless because you don’t actually EXPERIENCE your brain. Psychology and therapy are more useful because although pseudo-scientific, they actually deal with the experiential realities of people’s lives.Last edited by alltrapbrah; 12-29-2023 at 06:21 PM.

Neuroscience is not a niche, Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system-spinal cord, brain and peripheral nervous system.
Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system. The nervous system includes the brain, spinal cord, and networks of sensory and motor nerve cells, called neurons, throughout the body. Neuroscience aims to understand how the nervous system works to produce and regulate emotion, thought, behavior, and critical bodily functions, including breathing and keeping the heart beating.

Hmmm…Without watching this video I’ll see what I can find.
I’ll start here. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC524646/
“Turkesterone is a phytoecdysteroid possessing an 11α-hydroxyl group. It is an analogue of the insect steroid hormone 20-hydroxyecdysone.”
Nandrolone decanoate—is known as Deca? Correct?
