Now I’m going to be 31 next year and I always have amazing haircuts and I’ve been sober for 5 years off hard drugs and financially successful

So I basically wasted my 20s on drugs doing stupid things with bad haircuts with the wrong girls

I’m so pissed. Had I been doing everything I’m doing now I’d be so ahead of life now

I wasted my 20s being a retard. So many burnt bridges and people getting the wrong impression of me. Thankfully all my friends stuck beside me

Who didnt waste their 20s? Youre supposed to dumb chit and waste time and learn from the experience. As long as you dont ruin your life in your 20s, you can make up for it in your 30s. But it's over by your late 30s. 30 is the end of being young and 40 is the beginning of being old. Better have your chit by then.

Think about the typical doctor finishing school/residency at 35. They never partied, travelled, or had a fraction of the fun you probably had in their 20s And they arent ever getting that time back. Just a future of more responsibility. For most other people the pay wouldnt make up for that lost time. But Drs are basically nerds and wouldnt find the partying lifestyle to be interesting anyway. Everyone walks their own path.
