Depends on how you want to define life changing. $1,000,000 I'd probably be able to upgrade houses. That's life changing, but not too drastic.
At around $5,000,000 I'd be able to leave my job, get a forever house and retire on it with a nice quality of life for me/family, that's probably what I would determine as really life changing. I probably wouldn't retire though just because I actually like my job, I would just have new levels of DGAF at it.
At around $50,000,000 that would be completely life changing type of money where I wouldn't even recognize the life I have now. Yacht, mansion, live in maids, private jets to Paris for dinner, etc. Anything less I can probably have like 2/3 of those things, not all of them. From talking to quite a few rich people in my area, $50m is about where that line is."If in my say 80 years on earth I do more help than damage, then I feel complete."

I make significantly more than what is required for my lifestyle which I am extremely content with. Any additional money will just go to an account to sit.
Money cannot change who I am or how I live my life. I have decided that.I only read thread titles and my own posts.

$100k extra would change my life. Either 2024 or 2025 I wanna buy a house, any extra cash might justify a heftier down payment to get something nicer, or put more down on the future house to keep the payments extra low.
$2m is what it would take for me to actually consider retirement.i7-14700k

Same same. I live very modestly relative to my means. My portfolio regularly fluctuates 100-200K+ day to day and that's just background noise. My passive income well exceeds my spend . I still work, entirely on my own terms and because I enjoy it. But yeah another 5M might yield some further adjustment.

This is the misc everyone is a ceo 10k/day.
A lot depends of specific point in life. I'm close to an OK house deposit so just another £10k would be enough be life changing since I could buy and get out to funding my landlord's tesla, holidays and create my own equity. If you can't handle me when I'm incel, you don't deserve me when I'm chad

There isn't one.
If you gave me $100B tomorrow, it wouldn't have a significant affect on my lifestyle. 1/2B yacht, 1B island etc aren't things I want.
I already have the life I want and would continue to live it.Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......
