has drinking lost popularity?

Never been a big drinker due to family history of Alcoholism but have always been very social.
Lately when meeting new people I've noticed that drinking booz is losing popularity in the under 30 crowd.
is it me or is this common in other location.

What type of drinking? People still go out. But I think the type of slowly shifting. It's more personal, 1 on 1 drinking, or small bars. Big clubs and such don't seem to be that big anymore. I guess it depends on where you're at, the venues, and general age. Drinking and sex are the oldest activities in human history. Those aren't going to change. But as with everything things ebb and flow. COVID helped with that.
