Brutal for Teslacels. Uber driver put 120K miles on their Tesla, and the batteries are now kaput! Said they use fast chargers/superchargers often (because they didn't have all day to wait around for their car to charge, time is money). Car couldn't even last a year and a half lol.

Drive a Tesla a lot and use fast chargers/superchargers? It'll only last 120k miles.

Oh look, it’s the daily anti-Elon musk and Tesla thread, sponsored by Ford and GM, who shoved their giant advertising dick down OP’s throat.
Ain’t that a bitch, best selling car in the world in 2023 but apparently it’s dead after 100,000 miles, catches on fire all the time, the driver dies every time, if the driver drives it in the rain he is charged $20,000, God forbid people like OP invest in tesla stock when it was $5 and be a multi millionaire by now, and drive the car, which is maintenance free, many people don’t even change tires for like five years no no no, gotta suck a giant advertisement dick.

Same can be said for people who can't afford maintenance on any high end car. If you don't have a place to charge at home a Tesla is not for you. Get a house or at least an apartment with a garage. I don't know a soul who owns a Tesla who doesn't do 95% of their charging at home.
You are the only problem you will ever have and YOU are the only solution.

lol and it's not for everyone. Why would you think ANY one car is right for everyone? That's asinine. Trucks are impractical for some, and a necessity for others. Some people need big suv's or vans. Why is Tesla the solution for everyone? Of course they're trying to take over, just like every other car manufacturer. It's the democrats and CAFE standards pushing EV on everyone. Stop hating Tesla b/c of democrats. It's illogical.
lol are you fuking 12? How many cities get evacuated over blm? Even if you decide to leave, you leave your house with a full charge. Why do you people just go completely fuking retarded when it comes to EV?
So, if blm is taking over your city, do you want to "fuel" up in your garage at home, or try to find a non looted gas station? Do you want to stop ANYWHERE if your city is in that bad of shape? I can guarantee I'll have 280 miles of range when I leave my house 100% of the time. Do you ALWAYS have 280 miles of gas in your car everytime you leave your house? No, you don't.You are the only problem you will ever have and YOU are the only solution.

It's the energy conservation people (dems) pushing that. Of course Tesla wants to have a car for everyone, so does Toyota, Honda, Ford or anyone else. No one is forcing you to buy EV if you don't live in CA and, even then, you don't HAVE to buy one. All that "pushing" is paid for by democrats and their lobbies.
If you love ICE so much you should be really happy that EV's are around and somewhat popular. That means gas will last longer and maybe some of those liberal fgts will shut up about the environment. You are the only problem you will ever have and YOU are the only solution.

I could see EV’s being a good thing in urban environments like LA where you don’t have to travel far, plus half the time you can’t see threw the smog ,so it makes sense .
In Canada with extreme temperatures and long distances to travel , I could see where an EV wouldn’t be much of a benefit but a burden .
They’re going to have to rebuild the electrical infrastructure to accommodate EV’s, which in turn will be raising our price per kilowatt hours in our households . Like it isn’t too fuking expensive to live now .
They came to their senses and lifted the ICE ban that was supposed to take place in 2035 I believe ,as it wasn’t feasible for obvious reasons , not to mention the lack of precious metals etcMake Misc great again

They want you to think that you will be responsible and charge your vehicle at home in the little building you had built just to house your car with some magical source of free endless power.
Reality is that your wife will drive it to death, never charge it and when you try to go to work in the freezing cold the next morning the battery has very little life and you hope and pray its enough to make it to the charging station and be an hour late for work.
This will of course happen every time she drives it.
or she will have to pick up the kids in the rain and will have to stop in some dark and lonely place to spend an hour charging it with the kids freezing in the back seat.
These scenarios are much closer to what most people will experience.
Electric cars will have their place but right now most places simply arent set up to deal with them. Give it some time to work itself out and they will be another viable option."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

There's tax breaks and incentives, but no one is FORCING you to buy EV or even trying. They want more EV's, but that's not forcing YOU to buy anything. They've had CAFE standards forcing manufacturers to have their fleet have an average fuel economy of 28+ for years, but look at Dodge. Still have tons of fast V8's and that didn't force you to buy a 4 cylinder did it?You are the only problem you will ever have and YOU are the only solution.

The wave of the future: hybrids that bridge the gap between current hybrids and EVs. Either a big battery Plug-in hybrid or a system like the Chevy Volt had. If you can drive the first 80-100 miles on electric, then it becomes a regular hybrid afterward that covers a whole lot of bases. Fuk government that tries to force EVs though. If you enjoy yours, I'm happy for you but they aren't for everyone.
