I've been grossing over $100k in a zero state income tax med-CoL area since about 2021 srs. It's not what it used to be compared to pre-COVID, and it's definitely not what it used to be compared to the '90s or early 00's.
From inflation alone, to achieve what $100k gave you in 2010, you'd need $140k in 2023, srs. Chit is crazy.
I know many people who make between $30k-60k/yr in 2023. They all have roommates or live with family, srs.i7-14700k
