I can remember having a gym teacher that looked like that, and had that kind of mentality while in 7th and 8th grade. it was always interesting when playing dodge ball. The teacher would play too and seemed a little to enthusiastic with his targeting of some students. He was quite popular. They probably named the gym after him.

Yeah but the kid never raised his arms or hands. As far as I can tell he was just walking towards the bus driver but never touched him. Also it looked as if the kid might be autistic.

In which case the driver should be fired and the school sued.

I am all for disciplining kids in school, but that guy went way way to far. He was raging.
