    Tomorrow I'm at 16 PT sessions with my PT post-op. That's the most my insurance will allow but she wants to schedule more, sorry Honey - I'm done. I can do everything I want and it's actually messing up the stuff I actually want to do.

    Ben I have been doing them for decades, normally after pull ups or after my hanging Ab/core work..

    Hanging Knee Raises.
    Hanging Leg Raises
    Garhammer Raises
    Toes To Bar
    Windscreen Wipers

    I don't know if it helped but I don't have any significant shoulder issues and I did win a 100 bucks for hanging the longest at one of those booth things in Florida once, so they do pay off lol

    Aside form what has already been recommended here are some things that helped me while lifting with it.

    Don't put a death grip on the bar, Versa grips will help you lift with less grip

    I also found that a fat bar or fat grips tend to keep a grip more open, that also helped.

    Neutral grip for everything, pullups, trap bar deads, push with dumbbells in a neutral grip or Swiss bar. etc....

    Check your sleeping position, it may not be your case but it was mine. sleeping on my side and my arm was dangling over the side of the bed. It didn't cause the tendonitis but really hindered the healing process

    Don’t think so.........

    You just mentioned fat grips. I never heard you say anything about pull-ups or hangs with fat grips.

    I actually heard it first from someone else not on the board anyway.

    I’ve had thickbars since I was age 24, but those are bars not the grips that you can carry and attach.

    If you don’t have fat grips the local playgrounds all have thick dia side rails on the monkey bars.

    I drove by the playground the other day in the wind and rain and did pull-ups on the side rail.

    Plus wide grip pull-ups and they have some monkey bars that are angled, walking them is tough with tendinitis, it is very painful when removing the good arm and the only arm holding for a second is the inflamed one. I was screaming on that.
    See now that would benefitical for a child to see an old man doing that. That child will always remember the old dude screaming in pain doing the bars, the kid would wonder “why my daddy don’t do that”.
