    Leg raises bad for back

    I've heard that they can mess with your lower back and spine. Anyone else hear this?
    Being all that I can be is simply not good enough. I will be better.

    scientific experiments says so. so can a high number of sit-ups/crunches.

    they do put stress on your back, but unless you have lower back problems, there's no need to veer from them. If you do have lower back problems, strengthen it up with some hyperextensions, and then you should be good to go. Peace
