He won a $20 million dollar settlement against the city police department but that ultimately comes from insurance. No charges have been pressed on the cop or hospital workers responsible for the injury.
Video is hard to watch
Cliffs
-video shows vet complying with police
-cop cuffs vet and then slams him to the ground and pressing on his neck as 'pain compliance' even though vet is complying
-vet says he can't feel his legs, cop slams him down again breaking his nose and throwing him into wheel chair
-vet tells hospital staff that he can't feel his legs to "please God help me, I have a family."
-cop tells staff he's fine, hospital staff laughs at him and allows cops to throw him around more taking no precautions for spinal cord injury despite vet pleading for help and telling them he is paralyzed
-xray shows multiple breaks his neck, requiring immediate surgery
-vet now requires 24/7 care and lost all function to legs and appears to have partial function of arms

I wouldn't say that. Most cops are good cops. But terrible cops do exist. I think legit crimes like this deserve charges and you should lose your ability to be a cop for life. A lot of bad cops just bounce around from department to department and never actually have to take any responsibility. We had once come through who had been fired like 3x previously for excessive behavior. He unjustly shot a dude, got fired with no charges and then took another police job in another state. That kinda stuff shouldn't happen.
But yeah the bootlicking crowd who claim all cops are good cops are morons. There's bad employees in every profession and being a bad cop can have life altering consequences for decent people.I'm 33 not 51

That's what you get wiht defunding the police.
All the good cops are leaving. They're literaly hiring pos diversity losers, anyone they can find - in liberal cities like sf/la/chicago. Can't pass pt? That's okay. Bad credit? That's ok.
Feel bad for guy, and yeah that former cop should've been in jail. Sorry for him, he was white, so media/society didn't gaf.Weight Loss: Go carnivore or keto combined with 16/8 IF. It'll create easy calorie deficit. Meat is good and heals, stop being lied to.
