CFB really needs UW to win this game or it will leave a huge asterisk/black mark on the season.




Alabama has a horrific offensive line. The fact that they needed OT to survive shows how easily Georgia would've destroyed them.

I think Georgia was probably the best team again this year. They just played a slightly down game and Alabama played their best game against them.

This game is going pretty much how I figured. UW stopping UM from answering there was big, especially as they get the ball in the second half. UW needs to be scoring on every possession at this point though. And their defense is going to be gassed after the third.

Honestly I thought it was about to be a rout too and turned it off. Washington has hung in there though, at least based on the score. I haven't been watching like I said. If they tie it up I'll turn it back on.

i think its simply rising to the occasion. but his boys just cost him the last 2 drives. the guy dropped a first down on 3rd and now the holding.

Wtf at this game. Setting the whole sport of college football back. Nothing but constant screens, with anything else either way off the mark or easy catches being dropped. I’ve seen higschool games that were less sloppy than this.

Washington offense is choking it away. Their defense isn't playing great, but they're getting some stops at least. How many times has the offense had to punt it now? Penix missing throws all over the place, a big drop, and now a penalty that didn't need to be committed.

i wonder if that's why you don't see great NFL QBs these days like the manning, brees, brady of 15 years ago - it seems like college programs don't really play that way, so those types don't get opportunity?

Michigan was way too physical for this pac 12 team, you can tell they barely face teams with that style of offense. Michigan has to be the weakest NC in recent memory

This. The PAC additions to the Big 10 are going to get bullied.

Michigan may be weak compared to recent champs, but it was a down year in general. UGA was probably the best team, but even they didn't have as good a defensive front as the usually do. Plus they had a down game at the worst possible time, which just happened to coincide with Alabama playing one of their best games of the year.

At the 2nd half you see he doesn’t step forward when he threw since he got stepped on his ankle and had kevlar around his ribs

It's easy to see

Probably explains why the line shifted sharply to -6 right before kick-off. You don't even need to watch big games to know the winner, just read the line movement on the point spread.

I enjoy watching any team in any sport win their championship (Stanley Cup being the best to see). Its just cool to see the genuine happiness of players and coaches. Even better in this case when its the team you root for.

georgia would have beat michigan

I don't know about this. Georgia was probably the most talented team I agree but they really played very poorly for a lot of the year. They played like trash against SC, Auburn, Tech, and Bama this year. Obviously Bama was the only one that bit them because the other teams are horrible.

They lost a lot of people from 2022 and while they were still very good they were very clearly susceptible to being beaten too.
