i have 70 hours into zelda atm, put 90 into elden ring
i am going with zelda because i like the lore and world better

What point did you quit?

This game is literally the same as botw, yet people hyped it up to an extreme. It's the same boring game.

Even with weapons not breaking and unlimited stamina mods, game is boring.

after a handful of hours already lol

I really had to motivate myself to finish BotW, don't have positive feels towards that game yet stupidly thought/hoped this would be different

after a couple of shrines I quickly realised this was basically the same chit but with a building gimmick

but but but dephts and sky islands

I honestly dgaf anymore about this Zelda universe and don't even feel bad for shelving this indefinitely (something I almost NEVER do)

I think I put 10-12 hours into it. Maybe more, idk. But yeah I feel the same. Story is retarded and the game is boring. I actually really enjoyed botw at first, but I've just had enough of that gameplay. Same with Death Stranding.

ER was better for challenging combat and sweaty moment to moment gameplay, while Totk is better for more relaxed gaming, creativity, and a sense of adventure that doesn't require an elevated heart rate 24/7.

Which game is better depends on my mood at the time. I enjoyed ER immensely, and am currently enjoying Totk immensely. They're 2 different games though, and fill different needs. The only thing they really have in common is that they're both open world.

Tears of the kingdom is better and its not close IMO.

You gotta remember BOTW is widely considered the best game ever, and Tears is vastly improved over THAT.
