You've said before that you briefly pursued a law degree which I assume grants you the ability to objectively read and comprehend the language for what it is rather than for what you want it to be. Yes I dropped out of law school after a year. But I certainly was supposed to be a lawyer. My dad was a JAG in the reserves, an ADA, and spent time in criminal defense. My mom is a practicing attorney who also teaches. And I have 3 brothers who are attorneys, two of whom are criminal defense attorneys. So this case has certainly has been a topic of conversation for me with those who are currently speaking to me.

You are right I don’t know if beyond reasonable doubt would have been met. But I will say that I think your argument works better if his defense was the contact between them was consensual and not that it didn’t happen at all. As the tape obviously doesn’t prove he assaults women but it at least shows Trump believes his status as star makes women more willing to consent to his advances. So the tape, plus the woman's testimony that she did not consent, plus the testimony of the other victims, could be enough to sustain a conviction for sexual assault. And there are plenty of people sitting in jail right now who were convicted solely on witness testimony. Witness testimony is “hard” evidence and a judge/jury is who decides the credibility of that evidence.

Stephanie Grisham, who served as White House press secretary under Donald Trump, said she witnessed the then-president’s sexual harassment firsthand.

She told CNN that she had to try to protect one staffer in particular who Trump would request accompany him on trips.

“He one time had one of my other deputies bring her back so that they could look at her ass, is what he said to him,” Grisham said. “I sat down and talked to her at one point, asked her if she was uncomfortable. I tried everything I could to ensure she was never alone with him.”

Grisham said she spoke to various chiefs of staff, including Mark Meadows, about Trump’s behavior.

“I think, at the end of the day, what could they do other than go in there and say, ‘This isn’t good, Sir’?” she said. “Donald Trump will do what Donald Trump wants to do.”

Grisham’s comments came hours after a civil jury found the former president liable for sexual abuse and defamation in a lawsuit brought by writer E. Jean Carroll.

Grisham said Trump would often comment on people’s looks and speculate about cosmetic surgery.

“But with this one staffer, it was really bad, to the point that I was extremely uncomfortable,” she said, adding that all senior White House staffers at the time knew about the situation.

“I did everything I could to keep her off of trips actually, and to stay with her if she was with him alone because I was really nervous about what could happen,” Grisham added.

Two employees of former President Donald Trump moved boxes of papers the day before Federal Bureau of Investigation agents searched for and removed classified documents from Trump’s Florida home in an unannounced raid in August 2022, the Washington Post reported Thursday, days after reports circulated that Special Counsel Jack Smith was wrapping up his investigation into Trump’s potential mishandling of those documents.


Trump aides separately conducted a “dress rehearsal” to practice moving sensitive papers, even before he was subpoenaed in May 2022, the Post reported, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

Prosecutors obtained evidence that shows that Trump stored classified documents in a visible place in his office, occasionally showing them to others, the Post reported.


The timing of the “dress rehearsal” and the moving of boxes was an indication of possible obstruction, the sources told the Post.

Obviously things were not going well for Trump on this since some of his previous lawyers have had to testify. Federal judges don't breach lawyer confidentiality using the crime-fraud provision without ample evidence of a crime being committed so getting a judge to break attorney client privilege is a very high hurdle. But this speaks specifically to intent which in a lot of ways is an even higher hurdle for prosecutors to overcome.

Its mindblowing how many times lawyers told him to do the right thing and return this stuff and he just kept double and tripling down.
