Yeah it has been my "therapy" since high school and i am calm afterwards with solutions to many of life's problems.
I love the bodybuilding aspects mostly and it caused me to join in 2005.There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

Not anymore. My joints aren't what they used to be. I do some work with the Iron Infidel resistance loops I bought at the beginning of the pandy when gyms had to close shop for a while. Figured I'd at least stay active. I actually like them more than weights. Same movements, and less damage to the joints. I'm not trying to look like mid-2000s John Cena anyways.

i do it casually to maintain bone/muscle/joint health...maybe 45 min 3x a week. not too serious about it because I'm not winning anything and don't want injury or to wear out my joints
basically like the idea of getting down to an exercise routine i can maintain for the rest of my life. also do some walking/hiking, play a little basketball, roller skate, swim.
feels good not caring about how much weight i lift...can go up or down or stay the same depending on how i feel on a given day

What's funny is most of the people posting are not the regular posters at all lol.
Yeah, I'm 45, but I try to get in there 3-4 times per week and play competitive vball on Monday night. Working on pr's all the time. db bench 100x7 this week at 175lb. Not earth shattering, but I was happy with it. Pull ups w/ 45lb for sets of 5. My back is too fuked to do squats or deads or even heavy leg press anymore. You are the only problem you will ever have and YOU are the only solution.

Yup. Consistently for 15 years now. I try to create or post in lifting threads as much as possible here. You'd think we'd see more of those on a friggin' bodybuilding forum.

Indeed. It’s like I said I came here into the lifting scenes. I took magazines and articles here by Bigcat, Derek Charlesbois, Layne Norton and I’d basically copy their workouts and diets.
Since thrn was diagnosed with colitis and for years struggled to make gains and eat like I could before colitis.
I gave up I walked away from it after many attempts to find my groove back. But how can I not stay for the misc? It’s crazy. You guys are the absolute best.BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

Almost every day.
Although as I'm getting older I've been moving away from pure weights and do more stuff like plyos (box jumps, rotational tor**** bags throws, battle ropes, etc), wall sits etc.
I feel like those are way more beneficial than lifting weights.
My problem with weights you only really move in one rigid, straight, plane of motion, usually only forward too.
My emphasis is turning towards mind/muscle connection, and working my muscles through a bunch of planes of motion, angles, rep speed.
I want strength and pliability from tendon to tendon.
I even have some of those Power Webs to work my hands and fingers.
No idea how to really work feet other than jumping/jumping rope.
Running hits feet but only the muscles along your stride, for ex. doesn't really hit outer foot.
I do lots of stretching for the same reasons. The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.
That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.
