i think its a sign of growth, so many things i look back on and it absolutely kills me. at least i will never do it again.

Unless it was insanely cringe worthy and horrific no one will remember anyways after a few years time. And even then, for some of those things you probably will never interact with another human involved with it ever again in the first place, especially if you move or something. It's like it never even happened.

So with that rationale, it's just not ever doing it again, and having many alpha or positive moments occur after that overshadow any cringe thing you did before, making you feel like a whole new evolved person.

The above doesn't apply if you're some sort of celebrity though. Example is Will Smith's slap cringe moment.

Honestly glad their was no social media when I was in high school and was limited to only edu addresses when i was in college. Posted so much moronic stuff then and cringe when thinking about it. Nowhere near as bad though as every sh*thead nowadays on instagram and tiktok.
