200k per year is barely 150k after taxes. This doesn’t include health coverage and 401k. You can barely qualify for a 600k house in non flyover state. Most owners right now wouldn’t even qualify for the hose that they’re currently in. Market won’t ever go down. It’s just gona go up. Brutal, it’s over srs

I mean it's not, but it's a good starting salary when you're just starting out. You can make it work by adjusting how you live. This will only be temporary though until you gain some experience. Once you understand your careers field more, the salary will increase to something more reasonable. Cheers.

Can confirm. Try to save around 50k a year to have a decent retirement. Doubled that goal last year, but it's tough. So many people, including most of my employees (50 or so), save NOTHING for retirement. **** is wild. I don't know what some people making like 50k are thinking - live at the absolute edge of their means and save nothing. Blows my mind. Meanwhile I'm nervous to "only" have 250k invested for retirement in my 30s.

IDK about all of that but housing prices in most places are stupid.
Watched a bit of real estate related videos this morning. Ranch style patio home, adobe w/clay tile roof around Palm Spring IIRC and they are starting at $600K for about 2,000 square feet. No land to speak of...front yard just deed enough to park one car in the driveway and maybe 10 feet between the houses.INTP Crew

I am happy on about 30k or less
I can make do with less and find my peace of mind
Hunters out here make like 125k to 150k
That's too much money for me honestly
Would feel bad about having so much while others have so little
Especially my brothers and sisters in Christ from my ghetto
So if I end up with too much money I just give it away
It's a loan you make to God and He repays it
It's shameful to not keep my charity a secret
But I just want to dispense some wisdom
Your mind is being ruled by money broBeans. Cleans. Gasoline.

They "only" make six figures yet they spend all day outdoors shooting guns and using advanced weaponry
It's a damn good time really, sure beats being chained to a desk and putting up with corporate bullchit
I know what that's like and honestly it really sucks, feels soul-draining and meaningless
But it's comfortable for sureBeans. Cleans. Gasoline.

What really matters is how much you spend each month.
No one needs to eat out all the time or drink starbucks or drive a new car. Those are all luxuries and should be treated as such. Treats for a once in a while thing.
Where you live of course makes a difference. Again, none needs to live right downtown in the most expensive building, thats why suburbs exist."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

It’s like this in every metro now
We’ve been robbed so fuking hard since like 2016. I remember working back then and buying a house in my metro was attainable on even a mediocre salary. Now you have to be a fuking doctor to afford a chitty 80 year old townhome outside of the cityBest lifts:
Bench press: 315x4, 345x1
Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 185x8, 195x5, 215x1

Try raising 12 kids in a chicken shack with a dirt floor in puerto rico after your husband leaves you for a younger woman and report back to me on how that feels vs how the young woman shown feels. You may find that the young woman in the picture is about a thousand times happier - especially since her boss can't beat her with a mop handle. My great grand mother shot herself for a reason. You fukks go on about how great brats are, how women are soooo saad due to feminism. Meanwhile I'm jerking off with with beers in the fridge and whiskey in the cupboard thinking about how fukking lucky I am that I don't have to get my throat reamed. you fukkin idiots need a reality check.

OP is to be saluted for speaking this brutal truth.
Boyos, if you aren't making at least $160K/year (which is still poverty level) then STOP working so damn hard at your job. Stop losing sleep over it, stop stressing over it, stop getting involved in bullsh/t office politics. It just isn't worth it.
Just do the bare minimum and fly below the radar.
F/ck Biden's economy....Everything I post is satire.

If you can't make even $100k work as a single person, you may be retarded. I bought my first house in 2016 while making $12/h.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
