What's a single guy supposed to do when he gets off work?

This is what I usually do as a single guy with a limited social life and no hobbies

- my boss gave me a break this week and let me work half days for a few days . Today got off at 1 pm ( it was wfh) usually its 5 or 6
- 2:25 pm here now...just finished taking a shower
- now ill need to eat something

- then my choices are : run general errands , go to the gym , or go visit my parents house for a bit .
- maybe go for a walk in the park.

Am I missing something ?


Maybe I'll go grab a coffee and people watch at the mall and mire all the fine women . For some reason this tends to make me feel good lol

Go to the gym and just relax the rest of the time. How fukn hard is it lol. Get a hobby.

I lift, clean my house, woodwork or build rockets, fap, play with my dog, or watch youtube docs. If all else fails just sleep. 9-10 hours of sleep for a few days will change u srs

Laying in bed inside alone watching youtube is fine...but I wish I had something else to do to combat this break up depression I'm having.

Right now I'm just sitting in the Mall having a coffee and even this can sometimes feel a little more optimistic than sitting in side

But I get it, before I became a bit depressed off this break up I could sit in and watch youtube and feel at peace..but I don't exactly feel at peace where my current life is rn

-Go to the gym but make sure it's a lengthy 2hr session like we use to do back in HS/college

-Hike a trail

-Ride a bike on the trail

-Video games

-Go to your cities subreddit (ex: r/Miami, r/Denver etc). They always showcase events that are happening where you live. (Chili-cookoff/concerts/sporting events/Classic car show etc)

Do some journaling if you are feeling that depressed. Putting your thoughts on paper can clarify what you are really feeling. You can gain insight.

Humans are social creatures, even if you don't want to get serious, dating can be fun. Or if you have single friends meeting up and doing chit will be fulfilling.

'Cleaning your house' isn't an activity, neither is watching documentaries.

With a girl or with good friends doing something mundane like sitting on a bench at the park can be fulfilling.

I'll repeat, humans are social animals. You're genetically wired to want to socialize and cultivate relationships.

Being around people drains me. I don't need more than an hr of socialization a day, and even that is pushing it srs.
