I was on team Android for many years, I had iPhones back when they first came out, and then I switched over to Androids, most recently I had the Huawei P10 Pro and the Samsung S10+. I then decided I wanted to give Apple another try after all these years so I bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I've loved it ever since but I am really starting to miss Android.
Should I buy an S23 Ultra and switch back? From the spec sheet it seems like the 13 Pro Max and the S23 Ultra are fairly similar on a lot of the tech, however the customization and freedom of Android is something I sincerely miss and iOS is boring me lately.
It may sound stupid, but one of the biggest things holding me back from switching is that I love my Apple Watch, and I don't want to give it up... The Samsung Watch is dog chit compared to my Apple Watch 7.

Tempted to return to Android - S23 Ultra

The s23 ultra is by far the fastest and smoothest phone I've ever used. It's Def the most iPhone like android device in terms of how smooth and fluid the os is. I've never been an iPhonecel but I do have an iPad pro 12.9 so I am familiar with the os and how smooth it is, the s23 ultra Def rivals that.
It's the first Android I haven't bothered rooting or installing a secondary launcher like nova or anything. It's just pretty much perfect out of the box. Battery is great. S-pen is great as it always has been. 120hz screen and the power this thing packs really makes such a buttery experience. I came from a note10+.
In terms of the watches, I have the newest top model of Samsung watch the 5 or something I can't keep up with the names tbh. it's great, but I don't really use it in great detail. I just like it for changing music and reading texts or taking calls real quick while I'm at work or working out or whatever. I have mine on a Verizon plan so I can use it anywhere without my phone around which is great for camping and kayaking and stuff I can just leave my phone in the car. It's not really a device that I would notice a difference in between Apple watch or Android watch, just need it to do those basic things really. I have no idea how an apple watch functions with a Samsung phone.
Idk I could never do iPhone, but the iPad/ipencil are unrivaled for digital artwork which is why I got it. Photoshop makes it completely seemless to draw something on my iPad and bring it up instantly to photoshop on my pc.
Oh yeah and the new android auto upgrade is really nice too. Another little perk of the phone though I'm not sure what devices are able to upgrade their android auto now.Sometimes I park in handicap spaces, while handicap people make handicap faces

Go to what you think you will enjoy more. Some people pick for camera quality, the others for form/bragging rights, others are just happy with a working smart phone.
In the end, every phone these days do the same thing. A matter of how fast(and you wont even notice it unless you have another phone to compare).CHRISTMAS Forever Crew

I have seen all the latest androids (jlmfao @ pixel peasants) and I have never seen an android as fast and buttery smooth as the S23 ultra. I am typing on mine right now. Upgraded from an S10+ because this is the first chip in many years that was fabbed by the godtier TSMC. Hence why the massive upgrades to efficiency, smoothness and battery life.
The pixels for example use the Tensor chips which are still fabbed by Samsung who is trash @ making these chips. It's a stutterfest.
Get the 23 Ultra, I am amazed by it every day. Lol, last time I charged it was yesterday morning and I'm most likely gonna make it through today too without charging.
Also, ho lee fuk @ the camera. Don't even get me started on this thing.Last edited by Coal Man; 03-07-2023 at 05:14 AM.

Pixel 6 was trash, pixel 7 is an acceptable upper mid range phone but it's not a flagship. You want a flagship, you go samsung s23 ultra. It runs circles around the Pixel 7.

Actual specs so you can remove your feely feels. It's a slaughter. OP asked about the S23 ultra, he wants a flagship. Gtfo with your poverty pixel.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

As someone who has tried both, it is a stutter fest compared to the S23 ultra. You as usual are talking out of your ass about things you are too poor to try.

I absolutely love being able to splitscreen with two apps on my phone or even as a floating window.
mind blown that apple still won't allow this on iPhones.
You can even connect a type C to HDMI cable from a Samsung phone to a monitor and its basically a full blown desktop computer with DeX mode. (With limitations obviously)--------------------- ϞϞ( ๑⚈ ․̫ ⚈๑). ---------------------

heres the thing
its 2023, all the flagship phones are going to do everything you need to do.
cameras in blind testing and you won't even pick the iphone or the samsung photo as the best to you
it all comes down to the operating system and how you want to use the phone
iphone = you use the phone as apple wants you to use it (basic, but it works, icons everywhere, lockdown OS/interface, smooth app experience usually)
android = you use the phone however you want to use it (advanced, customizable, but with an open OS/interface apps have to cater to a billion different models/processors/gpus/ram/etc and usually apps run smoother on iphone because of this)
I would never recommend an android tablet tho, those chits are trash no matter how beautiful amoled screen it gotLast edited by rocketfish; 03-07-2023 at 01:55 PM.

What is the last android tablet that you have used? Just curious.
I've been using the Tab S7 for the last two years and it's amazing. The budget android tablets are garbage tho.
The whole thing about android Apps not being "optimized" isn't even an issue anymore. Since you can resize the app in a floating window to any aspect ratio you want.
I would only recommend an iPad if you are an art student who likes to draw and chit. For everything else, the iPad is way too limited.--------------------- ϞϞ( ๑⚈ ․̫ ⚈๑). ---------------------
