What a game by Leo. Once the cameras got rolling, forces a fumble on the opening drive on the offensive player of the year. 6 tackles. and later decides to block the extra point.

Not surprised by the result. Mahomes is a great QB and probably could have run that touchdown in himself.
However, there was a crap ton of blatant penalties that didn't get called. If me, as a casual watcher, can spot it clearly, the refs should be able to. At least half a dozen times or more that KC should have been flagged for holding and other things. And things like that false start on the final drive for SF was absolute garbage. Turned a 3rd and 3 into a 3rd and 8 in the red zone. Just be consistent - there were no false start calls until that point and then suddenly they call both holding and a false start in overtime? Nope.
Purdy did a pretty damned good job without much protection at all and it was clear why Mahomes had lots of room to work with.

LOL, fun reading this thread the next day. You had the trifecta of a perfect game:
1. The GOAT doing GOAT things
2. Average Brock doing average Brock things
3. Big Deep crying like a teen girl rejected by the high school QB
Never seen a "guy" cry so much about holding and scripted and Tay Tay

For sure, the reasons why the Niners lost was bc

Taylor Swift
Nothing said about Kyle's chit playcalling, or Kittle having 2 catches for 4 yards, or Niner players not foam rolling and getting injured, or Mahomes doing Mahomes things on 3rd 4th down multiple times.NYR NYM NYK UCONN Nebraska AS Roma

Mahomes didn't play that well, though, for him.
Yes Shannie's chit play calling, and I read that Kittle didn't have catches because Kyle wanted him to Block, which is like ???.
Niners injuries were weird, and CMC fumbling and that weird ricochet fumble with Ray-Ray. That was just a weird game overall.
Someone said Shannie shied away from CMC because of that fumble. OK but then who is left if no Kittle, Deebo is injured half the time, no CMC, so you just have Aiyuk, and Jennings?
Why am I calling better plays than Kyle and I'm a female who never played football and just started learning about the game in 2021? That's pretty sad.Make It a Great Day! Just call me Dusty. It's a Clown 🤡 World out there.

That's on Kyle Shanahan.
That's the difference between him and the very best head coaches in NFL history. The Chiefs were prepared for the moment and knew what they had to do. You think a coach like Bill Belichick would have his players not prepared for an overtime situation?
His receivers stink, he had to make something happen with not much around him. But when the moment was greatest, when the chips were in the middle of the table, with the Super Bowl on the line, what did Mahomes do? Clutch drive with a minute left in the 4th quarter to force overtime. Clutch game winning drive in OT.

I'm a casual fan, only watch the playoffs/superbowl, I thought it was a decent game and made my heart race in the late 4th/OT with no dawg in the fight.
People saying that it's rigged have obviously never watched the NBA.
