Fuark you're in for a nice summer.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

They are made to order, so price can varies a lot. I did a bare bones setup it was 23k. With carpet, seats, stereo, trolling motors, etc. that boat would be 30k from dealer. It's a lot for a jon boat, but it's the type of boating I like to do, shallow rivers where nobody else goes. I saved half over the course of 3 years and then bank helped me with the rest.

How you gon post all those pics and not tell me how much power shes pushing? Looks like a 115?
Anyway flatsboat/10
bet she screams super fast up them rivers. Useless in my neck of the woods doe. One wave with a poor trim and she'd be underwater
EDIT: Is she 15ft LOA? or a touch longer. Hard to tell.Last edited by FinBra; 02-28-2023 at 07:21 AM.

Engine is considered a 115/80 jet. When you swap the prop with a jet pump, you lose about 30% efficiency. Mercury puts the pump (made in CA) on their engine in the factory and they slap 80HP stickers on it, but the powerhead is 115HP.
18FT long and 60" bottom width. The model is 1860SS from Blazer Manufacturing in Ellington, MO. The rivers I run are perfect, but yeah pretty much useless in a lake or if it's really windy. Waves on the flat bottom suck and also the jet pump will suck air if it's too choppy.
I bump 40 mph, which is fine. On plane I can go through 4" of water, which is thrilling at 40 mph.☆☆☆Misc Dad Crew☆☆☆

20-30ft, single outboard pleasure craft. Too small to carry ******* and fuel for the trip. Would not direct my pilots to circle you........unless you got some HBBs on there than ya...we are circling, and I will be zooming in the cameras. Serious.

Pretty sweet ride - 40 MPH is quick enough with no real V. First boat I owned was a 115 on an 18 ft scout. Was this boat basically:
She had that modified V so couldn't handle waves for **** either (top speed of 37mph trimmed out on a flat day). I'd post my current boat but the ****ers so unique anyone reading the forum in FL would know who I was. I'll just say shes a 23 center console with a deep V and a 250 on the back.
EDIT:You'd be surprised how many folks have those flats boats in FL. North Tampa bay where the wind gets broken up by the bridges, you see a few of them. On a good calm day you can see em as far south as the Gandy bridge

This was my last boat, I had it for 10 years. Bought it for $900 and re-did the interior and bought a new engine. It was fine, but really skinny and tippy when you walked around on it.
18 long 48" wide bottom. Yam 50HP 2 stroke, did about 35 mph. It never really planed out right after I built up the transom to accommodate the long shaft engine. If you turned left real hard, would feel like it was gonna flip.
The new boat I can whip chittys like a jetski does, pretty fun.☆☆☆Misc Dad Crew☆☆☆

A more important consideration is why you're boating on a river of diarrhea?
