Lmfao... The bar for LeBron is higher than any athlete in sports history apparently. Even at 38.
This confirms he's the GOAT honestly. He's playing with house $$, has been since before 2020.. if he hadn't have won a chip with the Lakers I could understand the argument I suppose..... But he already has a chip there
Also that 2020 team was thought of as not that great heading into the year. The clippers were the team to beat I'm the West

So let’s apply this same logic to MJ
Many on this board, I’m sure you included, regard MJ as the greatest
Why didn’t he bring his team to the Finals in his last two years? As the GOAT, per your own logic, wouldn’t you say he should have willed his team to the Finals?
To take it a step further, since he did not will his team to the Finals then, per your logic, wouldn’t that make him not the GOAT?
I’ll await your low IQ response

8 players scoring 10+ against the warriors
Malik beasley with 25
schroeder, hachimura, bamba (?!), austin reaves, lonnie walker all with 10 or more off the bench
interdasting to see where this might go. Gonna get smoked by MY pelicans in the playoffs tho.pls do not associate my personalities in misc and sports misc

Zion gonna be out with another injury come playoff time lol
But this team is very deep. Unfortunately they're gonna need to be come playoff time cause they have alot of players that have 1 specific skill set. The rotations are gonna be bigger
Beasley is a huge pickup and Bamba allows spacing in the paint with the 2nd unit. Rui is a great scorer in the midrange when you need a bucket (he's statistically one of the best midrange shooters in the NBA), DS plays fast and can get hit, Reaves just plays the right way at all times and has a really good improving offensive game,
It's crazy Lonnie used to be their 3rd best player (which was sad), and now he is completely out of the rotation cause we just have better guys

Surprised at this trade as well. They had to give up their 2027, but it got them out from Westbrook, makes them immediately better, and frees up cap space this summer. Which they are going to really need since they need to figure out what they are gonna do about D'Angelo, Rui, Bamba, and then Beasly / Vanderbilt. This and the Rui deals were uncharacteristically well done.
Ainge still basically fleeced everyone. They can go full tank mode (which the time has surprisingly played their asses off this year), got out of Conley contract, and got Lakers 2027 (interesting protection on that pick). Ainge's war chest of high quality draft picks is getting really impressive.
Also like what Minnesota did in swapping D'Angleo for an adult in Conley who can actually run a team. Will only make Ant and KAT better, and might help a bit with the abortion of the Gobert trade and spacing.

Lakers actually match up really well with the Nuggets.. AD dominates Jokic, and they've beat them and hung with them even with their chitty roster.
Grizzly have faltered ever since that Shannon Sharpe/Lakers game and have done pretty bad. I think the Suns, and Clippers are the 2 teams I'd have over the Lakers..... And honestly I think Russ might make them even worse so we'll see how they look and I might like the Lakers over them too

Dallas is kind of a matchup that doesn't fully favor the Mavs. Vanderbilt has done a good job against Luka, they don't have anyone who can matchup with Bron or AD cause they gave up any wing defenders they have
DS is probably gonna have the assignment on Kyrie and he'd get cooked but they'd be a horrible defensive team

61-47 Dallas with 19 seconds to go in the first half
It's kind of what I was expecting but tbh it's not really as bad as I thought. Lakers are shooting just 14% from 3 and 32% overall, whereas Dallas is at 52%/50%. That's some seriously bad shooting from the Lakers, so there's still room to come back in the second half if they can get to even average shooting levels
Damn Luka and Kyrie is a potent combo tho lol and Hardaway Jr hitting shots

Well......... The race to 6th seed is over with the Bron news. I'm amazed he even finished the game and played the way he did. I still think the Lakers can make the play-in but only because the schedule is so easy
They have the 6th easiest schedule remaining if I'm not mistaken. But Bron held it down with AD out, and was over .500 with a REALLY chitty roster. AD has the pieces and the schedule to still get to the play-in.
In my mind season isn't quite over. DLO needs to come back tho, and unfortunately he's doubtful for tomorrow against the Grizz, but we need him vs the Thunder.
What you think? Think we can still get to the 8-9th seed? Would have to play 1 game if we got 8th and 2 if we got 9-10th
