Strong back.....weak biceps?

Hi all,

***I posted this in the main workout section but wanted to see what you ladies thought************

I am on a three day split chest/tri, back/bi,ab/lower workout.
On my back day I train back first, however my biceps give out before I can really finish back and can only do 2 weak sets of bicep curls.

Last Workout
2 sets Back row(don't know the name)
3 sets of T-bar row
10 or so pull-ups (assisted)

2 sets Bicep curls (half assed sets)

So of course the next day I could feel the biceps, but my back wasn't sore at all.

What should I do to correct this, biceps on a seperate day, biceps twice a week? I feel like my biceps are keeping me from getting the most out of my back workout.

Any tips appreciated.

I had the exact same problem when I first started, same thing with chest, my arms would be sore and my chest....nothing. It was cured by seperating the arms from the large groups. It took about a year though. Now Im ok. For a long time I did a 3 day split, mon-chest/back, wed-legs, fri-arms/shoulder. Im realizing now that wasnt enough leg work. So Im currently trying to correct that one too. Trial and error.

how about putting some back exes in there that don't involve the biceps so much? T-bars and rows all do. Lat pulldown maybe less so. Deads - hardly at all. I do same split as you with back/bis but do deads first. They really get the back. Then move on to rows.

Yeah it is kinda frustrating.

I'm actually on a four day split(where is my brain) I forgot shoulders
.....

I figure I have two options

1. Switch tri/bi
ie
Chest + Biceps
Back + Triceps

OR

Split

4- days

Chest

Back

Lower/Abs

Tri/Bi and Shoulders

I have changed my days where arms and shoulders are done on Thursdays (class is Mon., Tues. and Thurs.) to concentrate on them better. For much the same reasons as Aurora's. Seems to help more and can concentrate on strengthening the left arm and RC muscles there.

Chest and biceps on the same day sounds tough. I agree with what mirror said-What about doing some lat pulldowns and/or deadlifts followed by good mornings? Those sure make my back sore some days. I give bis/tris/forearms their own day and really punish em good.
