Wonder why the OP disappeared since February and now suddenly shows up and starts posting, presumably frequently.
Odd, ONLY forum liberals seem to do this, coming and going, disappearing for months, then showing up and making a dozen posts daily. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

It's simple really - I've been busy with my career, which has limited my free time to goof off online. I'm off of work this week and doing some housekeeping on my personal PC and decided to pop in to see what the old bb.com crew is up to.
I can assure you I won't be wasting time here on any regular basis, even on a limited basis. I've got too much going on with my family, career, and other real life pursuits to find posting on this forum a good use of time anymore. It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. I'm guessing some people think I also run another account? Facts are that I've only ever had one account on this forum. I did a name change about 10 years ago from little_dan but it's always been the same account. I don't care much what people choose to believe about it as 1) I can't control it and 2) it doesn't impact my life.
I think you and I had some early interactions in the late 2000s with a guy named davesporty - am I remembering that correctly? It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person. - Bill Murray

Op comes back intentionally at a time when millions of Americans are suffering from cold weather and ice, as well as many deaths, for the sole purpose of mocking the tragedy with his username.
Bobby Drake, that blood is on your hands.Intelligent individuals learn from every thing and every one; average people, from their experiences. The stupid already have all the answers.

God that sounds familiar. He wasn't the rightwing nut who always droned on about grabbling and challenging people to fight him, was he?
He did in my estimation, too, but no real need for the slight hostility. |ce always supported his stances, whether I agreed with him or not, and was not one of the hyperbolic covid-cells who wanted unvaccinated to be denied treatment or other sick stances (that they all now are pretending they didn't have). All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Happy New Year
The early Roman calendar consisted of 10 months and 304 days, with each new year beginning at the vernal equinox; according to tradition, it was created by Romulus, the founder of Rome, in the eighth century B.C. A later king, Numa Pompilius, is credited with adding the months of Januarius and Februarius. Over the centuries, the calendar fell out of sync with the sun, and in 46 B.C. the emperor Julius Caesar decided to solve the problem by consulting with the most prominent astronomers and mathematicians of his time. He introduced the Julian calendar, which closely resembles the more modern Gregorian calendar that most countries around the world use today.
As part of his reform, Caesar instituted January 1 as the first day of the year, partly to honor the month’s namesake: Janus, the Roman god of beginnings, whose two faces allowed him to look back into the past and forward into the future. Romans celebrated by offering sacrifices to Janus, exchanging gifts with one another, decorating their homes with laurel branches and attending raucous parties. In medieval Europe, Christian leaders temporarily replaced January 1 as the first of the year with days carrying more religious significance, such as December 25 (the anniversary of Jesus’ birth) and March 25 (the Feast of the Annunciation); Pope Gregory XIII reestablished January 1 as New Year’s Day in 1582.Disagree with a Marxist and you will be targeted as part of the problem.
