I watch KITCO news alot. They have alot of economists, "financial experts" and such on as guests. A few have been the optimistic cheerleader type who act like it isn't that bad and things are gonna turn around now. I'd say consensus among their guests though is it bottoms out 3rd or 4th quarter next year. Though there are a few of the doom and gloom types who say we are in an economic downturn for the long haul, a global recession the likes we have never seen.
I think I'm gonna take the moderate consensus pick and go with 4th quarter 2023Know Justice

You can't predict the future unless you have inside information on what is going to happen to the whole system. You can only manage risk. Could anyone have predicted Russia would invade Ukraine or that the US would react with such extreme measures. Could anyone have predicted covid?

There are too many variables at play to say.
Oil is tanking fast, but will it last? The dollar had a huge run, but is it done?
My advice? Keep your cash on ice.
